Coal spontaneous combustion intelligent monitoring and early warning system is mainly composed of beam pipe gas sampling device and wireless self-organized network monitoring system.

Beam Tube Gas Sampling Device
Gas is extracted through monitoring beam tubes arranged at different locations of coal silos and coal piles and delivered to the sampling device, which is equipped with various laser gas sensors. It realizes real-time monitoring of CO, CO₂, O₂, CH₄, C₂H₂, C₂H₄, temperature, humidity, differential pressure and other parameters, and uploads data to the host computer in real time. By detecting collected fire-characteristic gas samples, it can monitor and forecast fire conditions at an early stage and provide a scientific basis for the prediction and prevention of various spontaneous combustion fires in coal silos and coal piles.

MZQC6/6 Gas Sampling Device Features
(1) Compact in size, easy to install, and simple to operate and maintain. The integrated design combines system control, gas sampling and detection in one unit, facilitating installation and maintenance. It supports switching between local and remote control modes, enabling remote automatic cycle control while meeting on-site sampling requirements.
(2) Adopts cyclic air extraction with automatic switching technology. By controlling sampling valves, gases from different monitoring points are collected sequentially. While detecting concentrations of methane, carbon monoxide, oxygen and other gases, it also allows manual sampling. Results from both methods can be cross-validated with laboratory analysis to ensure prediction accuracy.
(3) Performs continuous gas monitoring for O₂, CH₄, CO, N₂, CO₂, C₂H₄ and C₂H₂ using sensor-based (non-chromatographic) technology, with high analytical accuracy and fast response.
(4) Equipped with self-diagnostic fault protection, which automatically provides protection and alerts in case of water ingress or coal dust blockage in bundle tube lines. Calibration with standard gases is simple and safe. It adopts negative-pressure extraction and positive-pressure delivery, supporting long single-line sampling distances.

Wireless Ad-hoc Network Monitoring System
Wireless self-organized network monitoring system realizes real-time, low-cost discrete-point monitoring and early warning of coal pile temperature and CO concentration, helping prevent coal pile spontaneous combustion.
