Technical Overview
To overcome the shortcomings of traditional yellow mud grouting or fly ash grouting, such as easy loss along gullies and inability to spread to higher positions, Yikete Mud Inhibiting Foam uses specialized equipment to convert yellow mud or fly ash into mud foam. The resulting mud inhibiting foam can spread, accumulate, and cover in the goaf with the foam as a carrier, bringing more water and yellow mud into the high, medium, and low positions of the treatment space. This technology integrates four prevention and control methods—mud, nitrogen, water, and inhibitor—utilizing the covering property of yellow mud, the suffocating property of nitrogen, the cooling property of water, and the inhibiting property of the inhibitor for joint treatment, greatly improving the effectiveness of fire prevention and extinguishing.
Technical Characteristics
(1) Room-temperature physical foaming with high expansion ratio: Introduces nitrogen or compressed air for physical foaming, achieving an expansion ratio of 20–30 times without generating heat during the process.
(2) Excellent spreading and accumulation: After foaming, it appears as foam with good fluidity and spreadability, capable of large-scale spreading, three-dimensional accumulation, and comprehensive coverage of high, medium, and low fire sources.
(3) Superior water retention and cooling: The foam contains a large amount of water, providing excellent heat absorption, cooling, and moistening effects on hot spots, significantly reducing the temperature of coal and the surrounding environment while maintaining a continuously moist and cool state.
(4) Good inhibiting and inerting performance: The yellow mud in the mud inhibiting foam can effectively cover and wrap the coal surface, block cracks, isolate oxygen, and prevent coal oxidation; at the same time, the nitrogen in the foam is released slowly, maintaining the fire zone in an inert state for a long time.
(5) Simple Application Process: No need to modify the mine’s existing yellow mud grouting system; the supporting equipment is lightweight and flexible, with simple operation.
Application Location
(1) Prevention and control of large-scale fire sources in goafs;
(2) Prevention and control of unknown fire sources in goafs;
(3) Prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion in local areas such as roadways and the tops of supports;
(4) Prevention and control of local spontaneous combustion fires in goafs and behind supports;
(5) Prevention and control of large-scale coalfield fires;
(6) Prevention and control of coal pile fires and waste rock dump fires.
Application Process
Through a quantitative dosing device, the Yikete Mud Inhibiting Foam agent is added to the surface slurry preparation station or the underground yellow mud grouting pipeline. After initial mixing, it enters the foaming device, where nitrogen or compressed air is introduced. After foaming, mud inhibiting foam is generated and injected through the grouting pipeline into the fire prevention and extinguishing area.
