Technical Overview
The mine-used foam gel fire prevention and extinguishing device draws in compressed air through the underground compressed air pipeline, injects water via the water injection system, and uses the material injection system to draw Prate A and B materials (hereinafter referred to as Material A and Material B) from their packaging barrels and inject them into the device. Through the foaming and gel-forming device, it completes a series of process flows including water injection, material injection, foaming, and material mixing to generate foam gel, which is then sprayed to the working face through dedicated components.
Without damaging the foam structure, the device enables a large amount of liquid on the foam walls to form a gel. With the foam as a carrier, it significantly expands the diffusion range of the gel in the fire prevention and extinguishing area. Meanwhile, a large quantity of water is solidified within the gel and will not be lost. This allows a gel layer to form on the surface of coal or combustibles, providing long-lasting cooling coverage, heat absorption, and inhibition for the coal surface or combustibles, thereby effectively preventing and controlling fires. The device combines the advantages of both gel and foam in fire prevention and extinguishing. During operation, it requires no external power; instead, it relies solely on the flow of liquid and gas as the driving force to continuously and stably produce foam gel at a large flow rate.
Technical Characteristics
(1) The device integrates the material supply system, water supply system, and foaming-gel system into one unit, enabling convenient use and maintenance.
(2) The device has good safety performance and can be safely used in places with flammable, explosive conditions and significant changes in temperature and humidity.
(3) The foam gel generated by the device has excellent permeability and can cover the coal surface or combustibles without gaps, isolating the coal surface or combustibles from air and fundamentally preventing the occurrence and continuation of fires.
(4) The device can convert a large amount of liquid into foam, and the gel uses the foam as a carrier, which can significantly expand its diffusion range in the fire prevention area.
(5) The device’s unique mixing components can achieve extremely uniform mixing of foam and gel, maximizing the effect of foaming and gel formation, thereby improving the fire-extinguishing efficiency.
Main Uses
This device is mainly applicable to fire prevention and extinguishing control at any location in coal mine mining faces and excavation tunnels.
