Technical Overview
The distributed fiber optic temperature sensing device is a system that monitors temperature distribution and locates heat sources based on the Raman scattering principle and OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometry) technology. It is mainly applied to fire monitoring in fire-prone areas such as substations, cable tray trenches, conveyor belts, and coal mining working faces. By monitoring and analyzing the trend of ambient temperature and locating high-temperature abnormal points, it realizes the division of fire-risk areas. Combined with industrial Ethernet, it enables real-time data upload and big data statistical analysis.
Technical Characteristics
(1) Fully distributed, detecting temperature along the entire line at precise intervals with no blind spots and accurate positioning;
(2) Fast temperature measurement speed, with a minimum measurement time of only 5 seconds for a single channel;
(3) Maximum continuous detection distance of over 10 km, capable of real-time monitoring of temperature changes at all points along the optical fiber within the range, featuring a large monitoring range, continuous monitoring points, and high positioning accuracy to accurately locate abnormal temperature points;
(4) Intrinsically safe and anti-electromagnetic interference
(5) The temperature-measuring optical fiber serves as both a sensing element and a transmission medium. By laying the optical fiber in the space to be measured, it can continuously measure and accurately locate the temperature at each point in the space where the entire optical fiber is located, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring large-scale multi-point measurement;
(6) Multi-level alarm modes, including fixed temperature alarm, differential temperature alarm, and temperature rise rate alarm;
(7) Flexible on-site management. The system can realize multi-zone detection and use software to construct graphical indicators of temperature changes in goafs and working faces, meeting the needs of comprehensive monitoring.
